Policy Letter

 

 

 

While we are here at Bishop Foley, there are things we complain about that we can do nothing about.  That is part of being in school.  There are a few things that happen that we can change.

 

 

You are going to write a formal letter to Mrs. Molnar.

 

Choose 1 policy here at Bishop Foley that you would like to see changed.

 

Your letter will include 4 paragraphs (MUST)

 

 

·        1^st Paragraph

Tell her who you are and your year in school.  Address what policy you are going to discuss.

 

·        2^nd Paragraph

Explain to her why the policy does not work.  Don’t just say I hate it.  Why is it detrimental to the school and learning process.

 

·        3^rd Paragraph

Here is where it gets difficult.  Explain in detail the change you will make and the new policy.

 

·        4^th conclusion

Thank her for listening and would love to discuss this further

 

Don’t concern with format yet as that will come later

 

Please think through your idea and try to put yourself on the other side of the fence.
