Part 1 counting

 

1      you need to sit with a partner

 

2      you need these supplies between you:

        paper towel or napkin

        piece of paper

 

3      Pick up 1 package from the teachers desk to COUNT

 

4      you need to PREDICT how many you think are in the container

        AND take a stab at individual colors prediction

 

5      OPEN the container

 

6      count the total

 

7      separate into colors and register how many of each

 

8      your paper should read (IN THIS ORDER):

        predicted: on one side

       

        other side

        group #

        red/  brown/ yellow/ orange/ green/ blue/ total

 

9      collect results from each group for your excel chart

 

10     you and your partner – consume and dispose of any possible evidence.
