This section lists those who fought for the House during the Lincoln County War because they worked for the House in general or did so out of some friendship held with L. G. Murphy, J. J. Dolan, or J. H. Riley. The men listed here were not part of any organized criminal gang, as were most of the other fighters for the House. Note: Only those men that actually participated in the war are being listed here.

• Sheriff William Brady, assassinated by Regulators Billy the Kid Bonney, Fred Waite, John Middleton, Henry Brown, Big Jim French, and Frank MacNab in Lincoln, New Mexico on Apr. 1, 1878.
• Lt. Col. Nathan A. M. Dudley (and the soldiers under him), died of natural causes at Roxbury, Massachusetts on Apr. 29, 1910.
• Deputy J. B. 'Billy' Mathews, died of pneumonia at Roswell, New Mexico on June 3, 1904.

• Deputy/Sheriff George W. 'Dad' Peppin, died of bowel trouble in Lincoln, New Mexico on Sept. 18, 1904.
• Deputy George Hindman, assassinated by Regulators Billy the Kid Bonney, Fred Waite, Big Jim French, Henry Brown, Frank MacNab, and John Middleton in Lincoln, New Mexico on Apr. 1, 1878.
