On the left is an authentic photo of Regulator Frank Coe, older cousin of George Coe and friend of Billy the Kid. This image was clipped from a wedding photo taken of Frank and his wife in 1882. On the right, from the Sallie Chisum collection, is a man several years older, but nonetheless bearing a remarkable resemblance to Frank, most notably in the distinct brow, angular nose, and prominent beard.
