WEATHERFACT: Q: WHAT IS THE DEW POINT?? A: I shall tell you...The dew point is the temperature at which the air cannot hold any more moisture. So if the air temp is 44º and so was the dew point, the humidity would be 100% because the air could hold no more moisture. As a result, fog or dew would likely form or start to form.When the dewpoint is in the 50's or below, we feel comfortable. But, as the dewpoint slides into the 60's and (god forbid) the 70's (which happens at least a few times each summer), we feel very sticky and uncomfortable. That is because there is more moisture in the air!
