She was born in Los Angeles 1951. Her father, John Huston, was at that time in Kongo. He made "Africas Queen" there. Her mother, Ricki Soma, was a balettdancer and a model. Anjelica was John and Rickis second child. She has a brother named Tony.

John and Ricki met at the producer David O´Sellnicks house. John was then 44 and Ricki was 22. The family moved to Galway, Ireland. She spent her first years there. Their house had a marblefloor with heating. The only kind in Ireland at that point.
John and Rickis marriage came to an end. Anjelica was 11 when Ricki took the kids and moved to London. She spent her teenage years there. When she was 14, Beatrice Miller at English Vouge wanted to see her. Miller had a photografer with her, David Bailey. They gave Anjelica eyelashes and Anjelica immeditly said that she knew how to put them on. The truth was that she didn´t had a clue how to do it. After 4 hours David started to scream for her. In time she came out. David called Anjelica Missy but that didn´t Anjelica liked at all. She hated it.At the age of 14 they had a disagreement about the way she dressed and behavied. That did affected the movie "A Walk In Love And Death" that her father cast her at the age of 16, against her will. The movie also did got bad critic after. One of the press members likened her face to an "exhausted gnu".
At the age of 17, her mother died in a car accident. That has affected her more than anything else in her life.
At the beging of the 70´s she moved to USA. There she met Jack Nickholson and feel in love. Over a period of 10 years she only got a few roles. Non of them were, or became big. Under the same time Jack became a big star.

The difference that she has to other actresses are the chances. She just sits back and see what happends. She trust her intuition, for good or bad.
"Prizzi´s honor" was a good one. With her father as director and Jack as a co-star. When she worked harder for her father at that point . She knew that he wouldn´t accept noth ing but the best of her.Her performance gave her an Oscar for * Best supporting actress*. Her father died in 1987 and the last movie she did with him were "Memories of happiness". A couple of years after that, Jack got a baby with another woman. Their relationship was no more. Today she is married to Robert Graham, a well known sculptor.

She can play any woman, with all kinds of accents, happy, sad and so on. This woman has very big possibilities. More then we ever will see on the screen. She turns every role into a magic cast. When she did "Bastard Out Of Carolina" for cable-tv, a movie about child abuse. Ted Turner who did produce the film didn´t want to send it as he had seen it. He strongly advised Anjelica to cut some of the worst parts. She refused and two days later it was on the schedule for Director`s Fortnight at the Cannes film festival.
