As our story begins, we find Dash adventuring on his Pokemon Quest. Although he does not know it yet, Dash is about to end up in big trouble.
“Where am I?” Dash thought.
He pulled out his map and looked over his route. He started at PokeTown (his hometown) then headed to the Forest Plains then to the Greenfield Pathway and had just now come from the Pokemon Center in Autumn City. And now he was on a path that was not located on the map.
“Great! Just great!” Dash exclaimed, “How could I have taken the wrong trail?”
He knew if he went back the way he came, he would lose time in the race to become Pokemon Master. He decided to take a break. He pulled out his one PokeBall and let Charmander out.
“Char!” Charmander exclaimed.
“Charmander, we’re going to take a little break before we continue,” Dash told Charmander.
Charmander sat under a tree, while Dash pulled out some PokeFood. He gave some to Charmander, then he put the food away.
“Charmander, I’m going to go find some water,” Dash explained, “You wait right here, okay?”
“Char-Char!” Charmander exclaimed.
Dash took his canteen and headed in the opposite direction of where Charmander was. All of a sudden he noticed a PokeBall. He picked it up and looked at it.
“I wonder if a trainer dropped this?” he thought.
All of a sudden, he turned to the right and saw a pile of PokeBalls!
“WHOA!!” He shouted.

He ran back to Charmander and his backpack.
“Charmander!” he exclaimed as he reached the tree, “I just found a pile of PokeBalls!”
“Char?” Charmander asked.
“Yes,” Dash said, picking up his backpack, “Follow me!”
Both headed in the direction of where the PokeBalls were. Unbeknownst to him that a couple of people were watching him at that moment.
“Hmm,” said one of them, “Did you see what that twerp saw?”
“Yes,” said the other, “a pile of PokeBalls just waiting to be taken.”
They moved from their hiding spot to follow Dash and Charmander. Meanwhile, Dash and Charmander made it to the pile of PokeBalls. He picked one up and on the side of the PokeBall read the words “THIS POKEBALL AND POKEMON ARE OWNED BY POKEMON TRAINER NICK MADDEN.”
“Well, at least this one has a name on it,” Dash thought, looking over the PokeBall.
He then counted the PokeBalls that were on the ground. There were over 25 PokeBalls! He knew he better get them to Officer Jenny and get them back to their rightful owners. So, with the help of Charmander, Dash started putting them in his backpack.
Suddenly....
“Prepare for a FIGHT!”
“Which you’ll lose TONIGHT!!”
“To fight every opponent with admiration.....”
“To steal all the Pokemon in every nation....”
“To defeat you in one swift blow.....”
“To make you fear the name you know....”
“Jane.”
“Cal.”
“We’re Team Rocket, capturing your Pokemon tonight...”
“Hand 'em over now or you're in for a fight!”
“THAT’S RIGHT!!”
The two members of Team Rocket appeared before Dash's eyes in a puff of smoke. Dash couldn’t believe it. Team Rocket had somehow followed him from the Pokemon Center in Autumn City (“Autumn City, Here We Come!”), especially since they went suppose to be in the Autumn City Jail.
“Don’t you two ever give up?” Dash questioned the two members.
“Are you kidding?” Jane asked.
“If we had given up then our boss would have us thrown off the team or worst,” Cal explained.
“Well, your in for a battle!” Dash exclaimed.
Charmander knew it was time to fight. He stood next to Dash waiting for the battle to begin.
“You got it, twerp!” Jane exclaimed.
Jane and Cal reached for their belts and pulled a PokeBall each. They threw the PokeBalls in front of Dash and Charmander.
“POKEBALL, GO!!!” both of them exclaimed.
As the PokeBalls hit the ground, out popped two Pokemon. They were Nidoqueen and Nidoking.
“Nidoking.”
“Nidoqueen.”
“Nidoqueen, body slam!!!” Jane exclaimed.
Nidoqueen charged right at Charmander with full force.
Dash exclaimed at Charmander, “Charmander, dodge!”
As Nidoqueen got closer to Charmander, he jumped out of the way. Nidoqueen whizzed past Charmander, and smashed into a huge boulder. Nidoqueen was knocked out cold.
“Nidoking, horn attack!!” Cal shouted.
Nidoking started to charged at Dash with a lot more force than Nidoqueen. But before Nidoking could get to Dash, Charmander gave Nidoking his firespin. Both Pokemon from Team Rocket were disable. Neither could fight.
“So, do you still want to battle?” Dash asked Jane and Cal.
Both stepped back from Dash and Charmander, then both got their Pokemon back in their PokeBalls and said, “We’ll be back!!”
And with that both ran in the opposite direction of where Dash and Charmander were.
“Now, we can continue on to the Pokemon Center,” Dash told Charmander.
“Char! Char!” Charmander exclaimed.
Charmander then return to his PokeBall. Dash moved forward, hopefully to a nearby Pokemon Center.
Meanwhile.......
Jane and Cal were resting and thinking about how to make Dash pay for this last humiliation.
“He will have to get those PokeBalls to the nearest Pokemon Center, right?” asked Jane.
“Right. And then while he is waiting for the news about those Pokemon, we’ll steal them right from under his nose,” Cal answered.
Both snickered at their plan and headed after Dash. Meanwhile, Dash had walked about a half a mile when he noticed a Pokemon Center made out of wood, sorta like a log cabin.
“Wow! Just my luck!!” he thought.
He ran to the Pokemon Center hoping to find someone there. He entered the doors of the Pokemon Center to see Nurse Joy.
“Hello, young man,” Nurse Joy said happily, “what can I do for you?”
Dash walked up to the desk and pulled his backpack off. He then put it on the desk.
“Nurse Joy, I found these PokeBalls in the forest and they have Pokemon in them,” Dash explained to Nurse Joy, “I was wondering if they are okay.”
He opened his backpack to reveal the PokeBalls. With the help of Nurse Joy, they pulled out over 27 PokeBalls from Dash’s backpack. She quickly put them on a tray (for PokeBalls) and headed into the E.R.
“I hope they’ll be okay,” Dash thought.
He headed to the soda machine to get something to drink. Just then Officer Jenny walked into the Pokemon Center. Dash was wondered (and worried) why Officer Jenny was here at the Pokemon Center. Could she be here because Nurse Joy thought Dash stoled the PokeBalls?
“Hello, youngman,” Officer Jenny said, politely.
Dash literally jumped at what Officer Jenny said.
“Are you okay?” she asked him with concern.
He grabbed his heart as it raced faster than a Rapidash. He took a deep breath and said, politely, “I’m okay, thanks. You just gave me a little scare.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” said Officer Jenny.
“That’s okay,” said Dash, “Officer Jenny, what are you doing here? I thought you were in Autumn City."
“Oh, you must have met my sister-in-law. I am the oldest Jenny of all the Jennys,” she replied.
"Oh," Dash replied.
"And to answer your question, I always stop here on my way from Clocktower City to Autumn City to visit my friend, Nurse Joy," she smiled.
Dash sat down on a chair, while Officer Jenny went up to the desk. She rang the little bell that was on the counter. A few minutes later, Nurse Joy walked out of the E.R. Room.
“Hi, Joy!” Jenny said happily.
“Hi, Jenny,” Joy replied, “I am in the middle of taking care of some Pokemon, who are injured real badly. So, I can’t talk right now.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Jenny apologized, “who brought in these Pokemon?”
Dash heard this and ran out of the door.
“Why, that man.. right... there?” she said, as she pointed to the spot Dash was, “Hmm, he was there.”
Officer Jenny got suspicious.
“So, that’s why he jumped,” she thought, she then said, “I have to go, Joy. I’ll call you when I get back to Autumn City, okay?”
“Okay,” Joy replied.
Joy went back into the E.R., while Officer Jenny headed outside. She looked one way, then the other.
“He couldn’t have gotten too far,” Officer Jenny thought, “And to believe I thought he was a nice Pokemon Trainer.”
She got on her motorcycle and headed toward Autumn City. As she drove off, Dash peered around the corner of the Pokemon Center. He saw Officer Jenny take off down to Autumn City.
“Great!” he thought, “Now Officer Jenny thinks I’m a Pokemon Poacher.”
He ran back inside. He decided to wait to see what Nurse Joy had to say about the Pokemon he brought in. It had been an hour since he brought the PokeBalls, with the Pokemon in them, to the Pokemon Center. Just then Nurse Joy came out of the E.R., she saw Dash.
“Excuse me, young man,” she said.
“Yes?” Dash replied.
He walked over to the desk.
“The Pokemon you brought in were in good and bad conditions,” Joy explained.
“What do you mean?” he asked her.
“I mean, the Pokemon you brought in are okay, but five of them are seriously injured and very weak,” she explained, “Plus only the Pokemon that were okay, have their trainer’s name on the side of their PokeBall unlike the other five Pokemon.”
“I see,” Dash said, with a heavy sigh.
“Do you want to see them?” she asked very nicely.
“Sure,” replied Dash.
But before Nurse Joy and Dash could take one step, two people came in. The two ran up to Nurse Joy.
One asked, “Excuse me, Nurse Joy, did someone bring in a group of PokeBalls just recently?”
“Uh, yes,” she replied, kinda nervous.
“Hooray!” the two people exclaimed, they jumped into the air.
“You see,” the other person said, “we were travelling through the woods, when our PokeBalls fell out of our packbacks.”
“We searched high and low for them, but couldn’t find them anywhere,” continued the first person, “that is until we ran into Officer Jenny.”
“She said some Pokemon thief brought them here and was planning on taking them once they were cured,” the second person finished.
Dash suddenly got suspicious.
“If these two are telling the truth, why didn’t Officer Jenny come back with them?” he thought.
Nurse Joy said, “If that is true, what are your names? Some of the PokeBalls do have their trainers’ names on them.”
“My name is Nick Madden,” said the second person.
“And my name is, uh....” the first person thought about this for a bit, then replied, “My name is Janey Madden. I’m his sister.”
“Oh, well follow me,” Nurse Joy replied, nicely.
Nick and Janey followed Nurse Joy. They had reached the desk, when Dash noticed Nick’s uniform, peeking out of his jacket.
Then it hit him, “STOP!!”
“Huh?” Nick, Janey, and Nurse Joy said, as they turned to look at Dash.
“Those are not the real trainers!” he exclaimed, “They’re TEAM ROCKET!!”
“What?!” Nurse Joy asked, shocked at what she heard.
“How did you figure us out?” Jane asked.
“Your partner’s uniform is showing,” Dash replied pointing to the exposed Team Rocket uniform.
“You should have covered that up more!” Jane exclaimed.
“I will next time!” Cal shouted at Jane.
“You almost got away with it,” Dash said, “But I’m going to stop you! Charmander, go!!”
Dash took his PokeBall off his belt and threw it. It landed on the ground and out popped Charmander.
“Char-Char!” Charmander exclaimed.
“Oh, but we’re ready this time.” Jane smiled.
She then threw, what looked like a grey ball. As it flew threw the air, it started to pull apart. It landed on Charmander, covering the poor Pokemon in a sticky goo.
“What is that stuff?!” Dash exclaimed.
“It’s Team Rocket’s Pokemon Stopper!” Cal exclaimed, “it is a sticky goo with a formula to stop Pokemon from preforming any of their powers.”
Charmander tried its flame thrower, but no fire would come out of its mouth. Just then Chansey came out. It knew that Team Rocket was bad news, so it attacked! It wanted to protect the sick Pokemon.
“Ah, I knew you would show up sooner or later,” Jane laughed. She threw the Pokemon Stopper and stopped Chansey.
“Oh, no! Chansey!” Nurse Joy cried.
Jane and Cal laughed at what was going on. They were winning! They would get all the Pokemon Dash brought in. Nurse Joy ran into the E.R. and into the room they held the Pokemon (in their PokeBalls).
“I have to save these Pokemon,” she thought.
Just then Jane and Cal ran in, they followed Nurse Joy to the room and were ready to claim their prize.
“Give it up, Nurse Joy,” Cal smiled, “you know we won.”
“Not yet, you haven’t!” Joy exclaimed.
She picked up one of the PokeBalls and threw it. It landed and out popped a Golem!
“Golem!” it exclaimed.
“Hmp, a Golem?” Jane smirked, “Nidoqueen, go!!”
Jane grabbed her PokeBall from her belt and threw it in front of Golem. As the PokeBall fell to the ground, it opened up and out popped Nidoqueen.
“Nidoqueen!”
“Nidoqueen, smash that Golem into orbit!!” Jane shouted.
Nidoqueen charged at Golem, it slammed into Golem and sent Golem flying into a wall. Where it smashed through the wall, leaving a hole in it.
“Ha! That was easy,” Jane gloated.
“Now, my turn!” Cal exclaimed, “Nidoking, go!!!”
He reached for his belt and threw the PokeBall. It landed and out popped Nidoking.
“Nidoking.”
“Nidoking, hold Nurse Joy at bay, while we get the PokeBalls!” Cal exclaimed.
“Nido!”
Nidoking blocked Nurse Joy from trying to stop Jane and Cal. Just then Golem returned! It was furious!! It jumped in the air and landed on Nidoqueen, squashing her. Nidoqueen was knocked out cold and couldn’t fight.
“Oh, no! Nidoqueen!” Jane cried.
Jane returned Nidoqueen back into her PokeBall.
“Nidoking, Horn Attack on Golem!” Cal exclaimed.
Nidoking left Nurse Joy and charged at Golem. When it got within a few feet of Golem, Golem dodged the attack, and pound Nidoking with its fists, right over Nidoking's head! Now, Nidoking couldn’t battle.
“Uh-oh!” Jane and Cal exclaimed together.
Cal got his Nidoking and both headed for the exit. They ran into the E.R. and into the lobby, with Dash trying to pull the goo off of Charmander and Chansey. They rush past him, but they failed to notice he put his leg out and tripped the two.
“That’s for Charmander,” he said to them.
“Grr! You’ll pay for that!” Jane growled.
“Later,” Cal reminded her.
Both continued for the exit, only to bump into Officer Jenny and three other officers. All six fall to ground. Just then Nurse Joy came out of the E.R.
A few minutes later.......
Everyone, who fell, were standing and Team Rocket was in handcuffs and being held by two officers.
“So, what you’re saying Dash is not a thief?” Officer Jenny asked.
“That’s correct,” Nurse Joy replied.
“And these two tried to steal the Pokemon that were brought in, right?”
“Right!” Dash exclaimed.
“Well, I’m going to put you two back in the Autumn City Jail,” Officer Jenny told Jane and Cal.
“Ooh, what rotten luck!” Cal exclaimed.
The two were put in a police truck and headed back to Autumn City.
Officer Jenny turned to Dash and said, “I’m sorry for thinking you were a thief.”
“That’s okay. Could have happened to anyone,” Dash said.
Just then Nurse Joy stepped up, “Dash, I have some more good news.”
“What is it?” Dash asked.
“The other five Pokemon I told you about are better,” she smiled.
“How?”
“I guess all they need was some food and some rest, which they got,” she replied.
“That’s good,” Dash said, happily.
“But,” she said.
“But what?” he asked.
“They still don’t have any trainer’s name on their PokeBalls,” she said, “And I’m afraid no one will claim them.”
“Hmm,” hummed Officer Jenny, then said, “how about Dash takes care of them?”
“Me?” Dash questioned, “but what if this belongs to someone?”
Officer Jenny replied, happily, “I will still post FOUND posters all over Autumn City and Clocktower City, as well as give a call to all my relatives and tell them to post FOUND signs in their cities. But we need someone to take care of them until the owner is
found.”
“Oh,” Dash said.
“And if no one claims them, you can keep them,” Nurse Joy added.
“All right!” Dash exclaimed.
Nurse Joy walked into the E.R. then the little room and back. She handed Dash the five PokeBalls, which he put on his belt. Now, he had six Pokemon. He thank Nurse Joy and waved goodbye to her. Officer Jenny also waved goodbye to Nurse Joy. Then both Dash and Officer Jenny exited the Pokemon Center.
“Well, I guess this is it,” Dash said.
“Yup, I guess so,” Officer Jenny said.
“Well..... bye,” Dash said.
He turned and headed to Clocktower City.
He had walked a few feet when Officer Jenny asked, “Hey! Wanna ride?”
“Sure!” Dash exclaimed.
Ran back to Officer Jenny and got into the sidecar and buckled his safety belt.
“Thanks, Officer Jenny!” he thanked her.
“Your welcome, Dash,” she replied with a smile, "Now, HANG ON!!"
She put her motorcycle in gear and raced to Clocktower City with Dash hanging on for dear life. Dash was on his way with five new Pokemon!! But something strange is going in Clocktower City, but Dash and Officer Jenny don’t know anything about it. What is it? Find in our next exciting story!!!
