The GSP Club of Michigan holds a Specialty Show and Sweepstakes each year. If you are interested in showing your German Shorthaired Pointer. Enter your GSP in our Sweepstakes or Specialty Show.("We welcome first timers. Bring your family and enjoy the day. Our Specialty Show and Sweepstakes offers raffles and other fun entertainment.(subject to change)

If are interested in conformation (dog showing). The place to start might be a conformational training class in your area. A canine training facility near you may know if one exists.

Visit our educational section. " Dog Showing for Beginners" By: Lynn Hallfor is one good book related to showing. There are other conformational books listed. The AKC site has more information about dog shows(conformation)and a beginner guides to dog shows dog showing and Junior Showmanship.
