Hi, my name is Steve and I'm incharge of running and maintaining this page. I joined the post in October of 98 and since then have met new friends,walked through flames, and have learned how to fight fires. I have had alot of fun and I wish that everyone had the chance to experience what I have. Well now you can if you live in Monroe County Michigan,are 14 to 21,and are interested in the Fire/EMS service.We are A program from the Boy Scouts of America ,but that doesn't mean you have to be male to join. we have 5 members that are girls and are just a good if not better than the guys. Also if you have a fear of heights,asthma,or anything that you think would stop you from doing ALL of the things we understand and if you like you can sit out the stuff you have problems with. But the Explorers isn't all fun and games,We do have to clean up the things we use when we're done with them but the pro's by far outweigh the con's if you have any questions about the explorers email us at the address below.
