The Blob can increase his body's density until he is virtually immovable. This may allow him to actually increase his personal gravitational pull, as he apparently did when he escaped jail to join the second Brotherhood. He is also quite strong, and lately has been learning to actually control his mass, which allows him to mentally direct parts of his blubber. He can use this ability to absorb impacts and to stretch his reach.
