Porky was created in 1935 as a member of a eam of animals to find a star to replace their current star Buddy. He achieved stardom as a cartoon star, before working mainly as Daffy Duck's sidekick. His main speech gags come from his stutter, which was created by voice king Mel Blanc in "Picador Porky":
