Frank Boursaw learned to play the guitar at an early age in the 1940s after the war.
He moved to Flint in 1950, and in 1952 he became a country music DJ with a show
called "Country Hoe Down". That spot lasted 17 years. In 1963 Nashville recognized Frank
Boursaw as "Mr. DJ USA". He now plays for nursing homes and charity events.
Frank Boursaw was inducted into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame on September 9, 1994
at the Saginaw County Fair Grounds in Saginaw, Michigan.
