1701 Aired January 3rd & 4th: Join us as we visit 93 year old Paula Pakka at her Mio, Michigan home. Paula is known as THE POT HOLDER LADY by those that know her. Paula has crocheted hundreds of pot holders that are sold at the Michigan Magazine Museum to "keep the lights on". Paula's dedication and kindness has literally raised thousands of dollars for the museum a non profit organization. Today Paula shares her life's story from Belgium to the U.S. as a "diamond cutter".

Then on the show we cross paths with an actual horse drawn "wagon train" as it crosses the beautiful upper peninsula drawing attention to the diabetic epidemic. Here's a PREVIEW of today's show!
