Franklin posseses enormous potential, along with X-Man he is arguably the most powerful mutant on the planet. In the past he has exhibited a vast array of different powers that were held in check by self-imposed restraints. But at the death of his parents and the manipulations of his powers by Onslaugth it seems all his previously exhibited powers are just fragments of his CL3000 reality alteration powers with whcih he can duplicate every power.
However, Franklin can only use these powers subconscious and often only in times of stress. He responds to threats to his life or the life of those he loves without knowing it and in this way he created the pocket universe of the Heroes Reborn.
This pocket universe resides in his blue ball which he protects at all times.
