Some reminders on free agent pickups that will make my life easier....always let me know 1) the max price you are willing to go on a player. If you are willing to pay any price, that is fine. 2) any other players if you do not get your first choice 3) the player(s) you want to drop and 4) how I can contact you over the weekend. If I can't contact you, you lose. Also, IF YOU PLACE A BID THAT IS LOWER THAN THE CURRENT BID ON THAT PLAYER IT WILL NOT BE A VALID BID AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY CLAIM OVER THAT PLAYER.

If you pick up a free agent you MUST play them that week. You are limited to only 2 free agent acquisitions per week.

Trades can only be made within your division and all owners involved must contact me with approval.

REMEMBER: The changes to free agent bidding. Minimum $10 bid for each player and bidding in $5 increments. The free agent deadline is still Friday at 9:00 p.m.

FANTASY SURVIVOR

To recap the premise of the game: Each week, one team will be "voted" out until there is one team left standing. The team with the low score of the week is out. Two teams will be eliminated in the first three weeks. The team with the high score gets immunity for the next week (if they do have the low score in their immunity week, they are not out, the next lowest score is.) Each week the team with the high score will win $5, to be paid at the end of the season, with the winning team getting a payout of $100 and the runner-up $15.

NATIONAL FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPUTER RANKINGS

A few years ago we were included in the National Fantasy Football Computer Rankings and I'm pleased to say we are back in for our third season. Click on the link below the logo to connect to the national rankings top 25 poll to check if we have any teams that are nationally ranked. Once at the main page, if you go to "All Teams" and use the search engine at the bottom of the page to look for "offsides" as a league name, our entire league will be listed. The rankings are updated every Friday morning. There are nearly 2,100 teams across the country in this poll.

On the site, the explanation of the ratings is that a team with a rating of 120 or better is a strong playoff contender, 100 as an average team and 70 or less as a very weak team.
