Pam Moore (Phoenix) and I are mighty proud of and excited by this youngster. Ridge has all the right parts; beautiful balance and outline, deep angulation and pretty head detail as well. He was one of two litter mates that retrieved naturally when temperment tested at 7 weeks of age. Pam photographed Ridge at age 20 weeks (above photo). He was quite distracted by the sheep in the pasture behind him, hopefully an indication of herding interest. His cousin Secret is quite the herding enthusiast though she shows greater zeal than finesse at this stage.
FLASH! Ridge wins Best In Show first time out! Pam took Ridge to his first UKC show at 6 months + 10 days on Febuary 8 and they went all the way to Best In Show under judge Karen Todd. What a way to start a career!
Ridge made his AKC debut at the Detroit Kennel Club show. He got off to a good start earning reserve winners dog from the puppy class with Pam.

Sadly, Ridge didn't stop growing. He's been placed in an agility home and we are hoping to see him make his mark there.
