October Rust

This is probably my favorite album of Type O Negative's. Sure, some may complain that it is more radioish, but I feel this is definitely the most enjoyable listen. Below I will list the songs and some insight to each.

Bad Ground-A silent static

Love you to death-This is one of the singles from this album, and actually has a video. It received little air time on MTV. That doesn't matter though. MTV blows these days. This song is pretty self-explanatory.

Be my Druidess-This songs is also self-explanatory, but indulges into a new celtic theme that Peter seemed to pick up for this song and the next "Green Man"

Green Man-Ahhh...this song is great. I don't know who couldn't enjoy this song. This was my favorite song on the album when I first bought it. Peter has said that this song is about what other than the celtic legend of the "Green Man". Steele also worked for the New York City greens maintanence for some parks or something (i've heard that he was a garbage man too...not sure about that one though). Supposedly children would see him working and dubbed him the Green Man. Other side notes: at the beginning of the song is a garbage truck and of course birds.

Red Water (Christmas Mourning)-Hrmm....I could listen to this song all day. I heard that Peter refuses to play this song in concert. I can attest it wasn't played at the concert I went to. The song is about the death of Peter's father, hence why he doesn't play it in concert. I think this song is very beautiful even though it has the dark, depressing sound to it.
