Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. has announced that it has purchased all outstanding capital stock in Joytech Europe, Ltd. and LDA Distribution, Ltd. For an aggregate of 600,000 shares of Take-Two common stock, Take-Two acquired these two companies.

Joytech is a manufacturer of peripherals like controllers, steering wheels, memory cards, and other gizmos for all leading systems. LDA is a distributor to non-chain stores in the United Kingdom and France. Both companies are from the U.K.

Both presidents will continue working with Take-Two, on their own previous companies. "Take-Two has proven to be a strong consolidator of businesses within the entertainment software industry. Both David and I look forward to aiding the company in its future global expansion efforts," said Lee Guinchard, President of Joytech Europe. David was unavailable for comment due to the Newcastle game on the television.
