Sony Sez: Get Onto The Bus

Well, onto the semi, actually. During the Super Bowl, Coca Cola and Sprint will be presenting the NFL Experience, a pro football interactive theme park. Open to the public from January 22-24 and January 28-31, the NFL Experience will certainly have some video gaming going on. Sony has announced that it will be there, with the PlayStation Touring Attraction: a 68-foot custom-designed tractor trailer that will contain a smorgasbord of PlayStation titles, old and new. Over 50 people can rock the trailer at once, with tons of games to go around. This is probably the same rig that was seen at the E3 Expo last May, and if so, it's pretty darn cool.

"Sony Computer Entertainment America has been a part of the NFL Super Bowl experience since the launch of the PlayStation in 1995," said Andrew House, vice president, marketing, SCEA. "The NFL Experience is a great opportunity to provide fans from all over the world with a first-hand interactive football experience with PlayStation and demonstrate why it's the leading platform for sports game enthusiasts."

No arguments there. Along with all the standard-size game displays inside, there is also a 100-inch video wall that can be viewed by hundreds. The rig can be opened to take advantage of good weather, or closed up to seal out bad weather. It's a pretty versatile machine. During games, monitors inside the trailer are filled with sports, as is the 100-inch wall.

So, if you are lucky enough to be in Miami around Superbowl time, head on over to the NFL Experience and check out the PlayStation Touring Attraction.
