THQ was kind enough to send us some screens and pre-preview information of Shao-Lin, a new four-player fighting game for the Sony PlayStation. The game, scheduled to release this summer, features art from legendary Japanese artist Hirotoshi Sano, whose previous works include such anime classics as Gundam 0083, Bounty Dog, and The Vision of Escaflowne.

Shao Lin is a new fighting game that is leaping onto the four-player bandwagon. A non-linear Story mode has players facing many trials of strength, agility, and mind. During this adventure, your character will gain experience and learn new attacks and fighting styles. Over 50 characters are available, some of which can be ported from Story Mode into Vs. mode. Six main fighting styles are faithfully represented, with move lists that get bigger as your character gains experience.
