Ten Pikachu-decorated new Volkswagen Beetles will head up and down Fifth Avenue in New York this week, kicking off the Toy Fair 1999. Yes, Pokemon joined the Toy Fair Parade Of Stars, causing banana envy to all others in the parade from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM today. After the opening ceremonies, the cute little yellow Pikachu Beetles will ramble about for the rest of the Toy Fair. So if you are going to be in New York City over the next couple of days, head out to Fifth Avenue and take a look at the Beetles, as well as the biggest and best toys of 1999.
