Last December, I told you about a new racing game from Square Soft called Racing Lagoon. Well, thanks to the Magic Box, I've found out even more on this mysterious title.

Is it a racer or an RPG? It seems Racing Lagoon is both. According to The Box, players take on the role of a talented racer whose goal is to find the "legendary man of racing." Players can purchase equipment and parts from an assortment of car and body shops, all while finding out valuable information from the local grease monkeys.

With cars playing such a big part in Racing Lagoon, it's obviously not your typical RPG. Instead of duking it out in battle with swords and spells, players race. Racing Lagoon features boss characters and the ability to customize cars with money won from races. Look for Racing Lagoon this spring for PlayStation.
