The 3DO Company officially announced today that Army Men Sarge's Heroes is in development for the Nintendo 64. This will be the fourth game in the Army Men franchise, but the first on N64.

This title will feature Sarge, an all-green, all-plastic, one-man wrecking ball. He leads the most elite and lightweight squad in the Green Army -- Bravo Company. That damnable Tan Army have their eyes set on technology which would make them unstoppable. Sarge and his troops have to stop them from getting their hands on M-80s, the Magnifying Glass, a Toy Oven, and the ever-dreaded Garbage Disposal. This house-wide war will take place on all fronts: the den, the backyard, even the counter tops.

This third-person, mission based game will hit the beachhead this summer. Good hunting, soldier!
