02.16.99

It looks like the war for peripheral king is far from over. Taking a page from Interact, Mad Catz has revealed a new PlayStation game storage device called the MC Data Deck. Featuring two memory card slots, players can exchange PlayStation game save information over the Internet. The Data Deck is also compatible with "other PC-based game save systems," so Data Deck owners can trade saves with DexDrive owners and any others that enter the market.

The MC Data Deck should be available later this month and will come with a price tag of $39.95.
