Ubi Soft Entertainment and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment inked a licensing agreement to create console adventures for DC Comics' dark icon, Batman. The two companies will begin to offer up game titles based on the animated "The Adventures of Batman and Robin" in the year 2000. Dreamcast, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation owners can all look forward to some kind of Batman title for their system from this dynamic software duo.
When questioned, Batman would not comment on his feelings about the agreement and when reporters looked away momentarily, he had disappeared. The Metropolis press had little luck garnering a comment from Superman (reportedly a friend of the Batman), as well. When it looked as if the Man of Steel was about to make a statement, he instead yelled, "Great Scott! A meteor!" He then flew away at a speed which was noted to be quite a bit faster than a speeding bullet.
