One of the Nintendo staples since the NES has been the Chessmaster games from Mindscape. Now, since everyone else has put out recreations of old black and white Game Boy games, why not see a colorized version of chess? Err, OK. Anyhow, Chessmaster for Game Boy Color is heading out in April. Some features include 16 different difficulty levels (from Beginner to Grandmaster), 2-player mode via link cable or on one Game Boy, a color system teaching mode, and more, eccentric variations of chess are all included for the hardcore chess junkie on the go. Here are some color pictures of the new Chessmaster, and although they aren't exactly much on content, they do show off the new pretty colors.
