Activision is hoping for continued success with the Asteroids name as it creates a version for the Game Boy Color, due to release this spring. The game will be similar to the recently-released PlayStation version, with new ships, enemies, types of rocks to blow up, and levels. Pre-rendered graphics (a la Donkey Kong Land) breathe new life into this old shooter, allowing for pseudo-3D action.
