The Pantheist Realm

Pantheism is an exciting religion for the Third Milleneum. As the frontiers of science and discovery are pushed forward with every passing day, it becomes clear that conventional belief systems lack the ability to be fully relevant to today's citizen of the Cosmos. What is needed now is a simple, broad, and realistic religion, and for many that religion is the ancient path of Pantheism. Pantheists believe that the Universe is the only true Divinity, and that as such, all within it is sacred. There is only one type of substance in the universe, and that is matter/energy. This substance is not base or trivial, but instead it is creative, vibrant, and ever-evolving. All things that we see and experience are ever-changing manefestations of this one Divinity, flames of the fire called existence. The basic appeal of pantheism is that it does not propose a God outside the Universe, but everywhere within it. It does not assume a Creator with a human-like mind, but something far more mysterious and powerful. It does not require faith in dubious doctrines or gurus, but instead offers a common-sense alternative. Pantheists are a part of their Deity, and they can experience it at any time through their perceptions. This is the path that offers the most logical, believable, positive, and realistic approach to religion. Pantheist ethics are simple. Respect yourself, respect others, and respect nature. Since all things are aspects of the Divine, all things must be respected and appreciated for what they are. Pantheists may take pleasure in all that life has to offer, participating in any non-harmful activity they wish. The pantheist view is that mind, spirit and body are inseperably united, and must be cared for with the respect given to all aspects of the Divine.
