Snow finally started to arrive, just in time for Christmas. Santa never lets us down! We are
sure that by Christmas morning the farm will be blanketed with sparkling white, whether that
will be a foot of snow or just icy frost glimmering in the morning light.
We enjoy winter here. The hay is all in, the crops are all harvested. No more
lawn mowing! We use this time to enjoy the animals a little more, and get caught
up on repairs and things we just couldn't get done during the busy summer
months. There are of course always hooves to trim, barns to clean, and ahhh yes!
Sledding, skiing, ice skating, ice fishing, hunting...:)
Hey, are we the only ones that "fight" with christmas lights? LOL When they
are put away after christmas, they are marked working, not working... But, when
we pull them out and put up the good ones.....you guessed it! Soon only
every other light will work on the strings, or poof! gone all together.:)
Sometimes it begins to feel like Chevy Chases's Christmas Vacation here.*GRIN*
May you have a joyous Christmas and a New Year filled with many blessings!
