LOT'S MORE GVSU CHEERING

It was halftime so i got the girls together for a quick team pose. For once they weren't jumping, tumbling, flying,tossing, cheering,catching! Not pictured ,but not forgotten Emily A.

Well, I don't know about you, but I hurt just looking at that! HOW does she do that? OUCH! Go Jenni!

The GVSU Marching Band adds lots of excitement to the games.They even have their own cheers. We won't repeat some of them....They are geared for the college crowd. LOL They would occasionally sing to a cheerleader or unsuspecting *victim* ..It went something like this...My father is fireman...He puts out fires! My Mother is a firemans wife.. she puts out fires! My Brother is a firemans son..he puts out fires...My SISTER (and the entire band points to the person here)is a firemans daughter .... she puts out..hmmmmmmmm. This always gets a roar from the crowd and it is done just in fun.

Jamie has just based what they call Hands..She supports the flyer with the palm of her hands. This is usually performed by the guys on Co-Ed. All that beauty and strength too!

The Cheer and Dance teams rotate around the field every quarter. Here in the 4th quarter Co-Ed and All girls teamed up for a few cheers . What a show that was! Below...say hello to Brook!

Cheering in front of the student section is always a loud time! This section is at the end zone and it gets wild!

Below on the left the Band exits in cadence in preparation of halftime...On the right, once again we miss the high kick! *sigh*
