Biology

We study all apects of life: the structure, function, chemistry, and evolution of life forms. We study the basis for inheritance and reproduction. In the laboratory, lecture material is applied where students, working in teams, learn biology through experimentation and exploration.

In General Biology the Internet is used as a resource for learning. We use computers in lecture and provide students with the basics to derive information from the Internet.

Here is a species interesting to everyone. Is he well adapted to his environment or not? Is he fit? Why is he near water?.

The College has made some recent improvements. The Microbiology and Biology Labs have been remodeled. Gas is now available at all stations. We have aquired state of the art microscopes and thousands of dollars worth of new equipment. We now study Biotechnology in our labs and work with DNA. Outside you may have noticed the street lamps which border the College along route 44. Also, we have new signs and marble posts to give the College a new aesthetic warmth. Northwestern is more ready than ever to accommodate your educational and training needs.
