Ack, I'm writing this in retrospect because I didn't get a chance to on the day it is for, so bear with me. ;) Today only one big thing happened. That was my date with Heather Allred. :) I was quite happy with how it turned out and I hope that she was also. I went down to the Wilk beforehand and stopped by the bowling alley to make sure that it wasn't too crowded so that we could get a lane. After that I stopped by the Campus Craft and Floral shop and picked up a bouquet of flowers for her because they looked nice and I wanted to be able to do something nice for her since she so graciously accepted going with me unlike the types of reactions I get out of many people.I headed up to T Hall where she lives and got to the lobby quite a bit earlier than I had anticipated, so I just waited there until she came down. Although she may argue this point, she wasn't late but by about two minutes. She seemed appreciative of the flowers and she took them up to her room so as not to have them get in the way or get damaged. I have no idea what she did with them after that. We then headed down to the Wilk to the bowling alley. After finally figuring out how to work the system and all we got to get started. I only had enough money for one game or we might have ended up playing more. The final score was 116 (me) and 113 (Heather). I was quite pleased with myself as my average is probably closer to 90. The way I understood it she did well for herself too and I am glad. After that was over, I walked her back up to her building and bid her farewell. It was fun and I hope to do something like that again with her. Michael Golden |
