Ack, I'm getting behind at this already. I hate having so much stuff to do. Today was supposedly one of my easier days, but I kept quite busy. German class was okay today. We went over different family members and the vocabulary for that. My group has to give a presentation tomorrow on the vocabulary for the classroom. We are taking the easy way out and instead of "Bildenspiele" we are doing "Shauaspiele" (sp?) which is pretty much scherades. It will be fun to see how people act out some things. ;) During the next hour I resumed my quest to discover a deep dark corner of the library to claim as my own. I was still not able to find one though I have grown a strange affinity to the bottom floor. I went down there and wrote out my journal entry for Leadership class. Today we had a lecture all about desire and how we should desire the will of the Lord. Later in the day I was called on the phone to provide a thought about desire for tomorrow's small group discussoin. I searched the church website and think i found a pretty decent article that I can pull stuff from. Bio lab sucked again. We did a little more reviewing before the quiz, but the print was tiny and so I don't know how we possibly read it. The T.A. had to read off several of the questions. Once again I don't think I did so well because apparently not everything is covered in the lectures and I haven't had a chance to read the book yet. ;) After Bio I went to the Admin building to get my $140 refund for insurance stuff. I went by the Wilk and picked up my Fun Attack Pass finally and then I went by the library to look up my bank account number online. I was a bit mad to see that they charged me 11.75 for checks. :( I thought they were cheaper than that.) But then I headed on down to that bank again and forgot to leave my backpack, so that made the walk worse. The bank is on the corner of University and 300 (South I think??). It is quite a walk. It is past the south end of campus and past the Brigham Young Academy. I was able to deposit my check and withdraw $10 to pay back Brad for money he loaned me to get the Food Handler's permit. I ran into my friend Heather at lunch today and was able to get her AIM screenname. I sat with her group and we talked a while about rather odd topics such as who has broken what. ;) Weird, but oh well. Heather was online later and so I talked to her for a second and I have to use the fun attack pass on Saturday or else I forfeit this week's allowance, so I asked her if she wanted to do anything together with it. :) She said yes, but later said that it can't be saturday night because she has some relief society thing. I will call her when I have decided which of the activities to do and when. I received a reply from Polaroid about my request for information about the image headers produced by the PDC 640SE and so I hope that will help me and Nathan Stenzel (he is a developer for gphoto that I have been helping test the camera in Linux) so that we can get the images to display properly. :) Matt was online and he was acting really weird, so I set up an inquisition chat room and me and Kenneth tried to figure out what was wrong with him to no avail. Who knows. I'll figure it out later. I'd better go as this thing is going to get uploaded in two minutes and I don't want to have to manually fix it. See y'all later. Michael Golden |
