
Regarding scent : I never here anyone mention it but I think that our breath gives us away most of the time.
It's not so bad if a deer smells where you were but if he smells where you are you'll be had , and they know the difference.
It's a good idea to use a drag string with doe scent on it when you walk to your stand. If a buck crosses your path he just might follow it in to you.
You know it's cold outside when the snot freezes in your hankerchief inside your coat pocket. ( just a little humor ) But it did happen to me.
