HTML Smiley's Way

Hello !
Nice to know someone else loves making web pages too!

The best place to learn about HTML is the web....so what are you waiting for? I learned HTML in 3 days during winter vacation in my junior year of high school. I didn't attend some expensive class or anything...in fact I learned HTML on the WEB! The place I learned it was the Web Diner. HTML is the first computer language I have ever learned and it is soooo easy that it is not even funny! So I say give it a try! This guide is made for people who want a quick start into the world of HTML...so for those people who frown upon "quick starts" this is not for you.

Here is 3 great reasons to learn this stuff on the web:

  1. It's free. Unless you are taking an online class.
  2. You don't have to leave your home.
  3. What better place to learn HTML then in an enviroment filled with HTML.
    Here are the drawbacks:

  1. No personalized attention, but you can email someone with a page and they will be happy to help you. I love to help people so I created this guide.

If personalized attention is such a biggie then go ahead and take a class...otherwise I think this will do very nicely. You might wanna bookmark this page so you can comeback to it often in case you forget anything.
If you have any questions email me at asmile4ur@aol.com computer email . If you need an email address I suggest you check out the Hotmail banner I have on the top of my page, it's free email! If you have a hotmail address already you can check your mail here by the form in the banner! Isn't that cool???
Or check out my mini "message board" (it's actually a guest book) . By clicking here you will sign it.
By clicking here you can view it.

You will now have some options. I suggest you take each one step by step, but if you think it is too basic then you can skip an option. That way people who have been here before can relook things they forgot or didn't get.

  1. Intro to HTML: what it is, equipment needed, where to find web page space, bibliography
  2. HTML Basics:how to write a basic page, backgrounds, images, fonts, colors.

Go back to Smiley's World!

You are the traveller to be helped with that darn HTML!
