Experiences like... Yes. I'm definitely enjoying my time in College.
................ Back to My Home Page
...... watching a tornado go by my window (Yes, it looked a lot like the movie Twister).
...... finding a ticket to buy THE DAY BEFORE the Michigan vs. Michigan State game, and then watching the
...........GREATEST Football Game I've ever seen............
...... going to Central, having interesting weekends/weeknight there, and then being able to look forward to
........... the "Next Time."
...... coming back here at 11 PM on a Saturday night from Central to go to bed; but instead, being convinced to
...........wear a wig that apparently made me look like Rob Thomas and go to a Halloween Party, where I partied
...........with all the people that I met here at State last year.
...... having your friends tell you that the night you go to a concert is the night that they go swimming in the
...........fountain in front of the library.
...... learning that Michigan State doesn't lock the football stadium very well. Whoops.
...... seeing your drunk friend knock over trash cans under the lights of Munn Field, and then seeing the COP
...........right down the road that was watching too. Vin cracks me up.
...... remembering what happened the night before, ONLY because your friends tell it to you the next day.
...... realizing that I only remember a few COOL Experiences from my Freshman Year, and late one night, coming
...........up with the idea to start a "No Recollection Night" Count for each semester.
...... laughing at our Intramural Football team (Yes, We Won A Game... thanks to a forfeit by the other team).
...... tasting Jimmy John's Subs at the end of the night.
........(The Official Count of the "NO RECOLLECTION NIGHTS" Was THREE My Sophomore Fall Semester)
...... having SNOW just Appear in the hallway at 1 AM somehow, even when it isn't snowing outside. BiyaBiya!
...... seeing a female walk by, and Always Counting On a "Yes" or a "No" from Ryan.
...... having our ride LEAVE US at a party, forcing us to make the forty minute walk back here in the middle
...........of winter. NOT CooL.
...... leaving a stupid party, getting food at Taco Bell, eating it and talking about how we couldn't find many
...........hotties that night, finally seeing a few nice ladies, only to see a blind guy following close behind
...........them. Even HE could find the ladies. That was a sorry night.
...... hearing about Video Game Bucks LOL; and then hearing the comeback of the Late Night "STUDY"
...........Sessions of our RA. Vin's Brilliant.
...... Riding with a friend and watching him CUT OFF a police officer, then seeing those flashing lights come
...........on, then having the officer ask me how old I was and why there was freshly purchased alcohol on the
...........floor by my feet. Oops. Our Bad. That will forever be a good story, Vin.
...... Watching Fear and Loathing . That Movie Is Crazy!
...... Let's Just Say... 420 Ann Street has Good Parties.
...... Being able to say that I've drank beer at a party where there was a goat. Hearing "Ba'aa" is HILARIOUS
...........when you're drunk. Just trust me.
...... Having a blast by simply singing "Olè, Olè Olè Olè, Olè, Olè." There are some Crazy Parties here at State.
........(The Official Count of the "NO RECOLLECTION NIGHTS" Was TWO My Sophomore Spring Semester)
...... Coming home from work to see our living room furniture all moved around, and our couch standing on end
...........with its cushions lying on each side. Apparently our maintenance people forgot to tell us they were
...........giving us a new couch.
...... realizing how much it sucks to have to pay numerous bills each month. I hate it already.
...... Having our first party of the summer, meeting our neighbor upstairs in the process, and having some great
...........laughs with some friends.
...... Eating a Tasty, Home-Cooked meal with Molly every Thursday night over the summer.
...... understanding that Volleyball in Lansing doesn't even come close to Volleyball in Sketown.
...... realizing that maybe, just maybe, watching fireworks with someone can represent something.
...... finding out that with alcohol, fun times are a lot easier to be had.
........(The Official Count of the "N-R NIGHTS" Was ZERO My Sophomore Summer Semester)
...... finding out how hard it is to work 30+ hours a week, go to school full-time, and be in Sketown often.
...... seeing the two Lions at the Lansing Zoo wake up from a nap to have sex right in front of you. Not Right.
...... seeing the two Camels at that Same Zoo walk the exact same path for four hours straight. If you ever want
...........to laugh, go to the Potter Park Zoo and check out those Camels.
...... making my first appearance in Court. Yes, it was just to fight a speeding ticket, but it was still my first (and
...........hopefully only) appearance in Court. I lost, but only because the Police Officer lied. Honestly.
...... camping out for 33 hours on a soccer field, unable to leave, just to get 9th row tickets for Michigan State
...........Basketball. Spartan Basketball Rules!
...... going to see Creed in GR. That show was one of my Top 3. It's right up with Our Lady Peace and Fuel.
.........(The Official Count of the "N-R NIGHTS" was back up to TWO My Junior Fall Semester)
...... New Years, 2003. Wow. That night could not have been any better. It was, truly perfect.
...... waking up to go to work and seeing people (Kirby, Jenn, Pat, etc.) pazzed out on the living room floor. This
...........has happened quite a few times. hehe.
...... opening up a letter from our apartment complex office and seeing the words: "You have been evicted. You
........... must move by February 7th." That, I must admit, I did not see coming. We explained the situation and
........... caught a break though, so it's all good now.
...... My 21st Birthday. I no longer have any birthday to look forward to. Damn.
...... Going to my First-Ever Happy Hour at "BurgerRama" and drinking MANY pitchers of beer. Let's just say
........... I was passed out by 9 PM, but that I couldn't recall the 3 Hours Prior to that time. Nothing Bad
........... Happened though, luckily.
...... having a friends' 21st Birthday at our place, getting a noise violation, and yes, for that reason, getting
........... YET ANOTHER Eviction Notice. This one, might just be, hard to get out of.
...... the RIOTS during the 2003 NCAA Tourney. TearGas, Riot Police, Mobs, Beer... Lots of Craziness.
...... appearing in court (yet again) to fight our noise violation, on the basis that our neighbor had us turn down
...........our music two minutes before the cops were there. The noise was truly gone when the police knocked,
........... but $225 later, the judge didn't care.
...... missing the Dean's List by inches. Honestly, two more percentage points in ANY class, and I would've had it.
.........(The Official Count of the "N-R NIGHTS" was FOUR My Junior Spring Semester)
...... being asked by Vin to play with his team in a softball tournament. After playing baseball for twelve years
........... as a kid, and then taking four years off, I never realized how much I missed it.
...... heading back to the West Side (Sketown) for the Summer Celebration. Kev came around the Lake from the
...........Cheesehead State and Vin came down from HTown. Spending the week/weekend with those two and
...........numerous other good friends from my hometown was the best time I've had in a while.
...... so many more everyday experiences and great memories that I'll never forget.
