Babtiste

Babtiste was Sacagawea's baby he was born on February 11, 1805.  His father was Charbonneau.  Babtiste was born on the expedition.  Clark gave Babtiste the nickname "Pomp".  while they were at camp Chopunnishe became dangerously ill.  His fever was high and his neck was swollen.  They treated him with different medicines.  Then eventually they could pronounce him well.
On July 25, 1806 Clark named Pompy's Tower for Babtiste.  (near present Billings, Montana.  The butte is commonly called Pompey's Pillar.)
When he was a little older Clark raised and took care of him.
