The Las Vegas Strip
Without a doubt, the most reknown part of Las Vegas is it's glitzy strip. Below are various pictures of sites along the strip.
Each hotel on the strip had a definite theme of it's own.The hotel we stayed at was the fabulous Luxor, which had an Egyptian theme.
The older part of the strip, now known as downtown, is popular for it's "Freemont Street Experience". Basically, there is a canopy of lights that is over Freemont Street, connecting the casino's on both sides of the street. Every hour during the evening, they canopy displays a dazzling light show.
There is so much to do and see along the strip! Unfortunatley, we did not have enough time in one week to see even a third of what the strip has to offer, but we did get a couple of pictures of the sites we did take in.
