God Is An AWESOME God
My soul rejoices, peace in my heart, Oh may the lord be praised! It's life you find, if your minds made up, And you follow in all of His ways. Oh God, He's an AWESOME God, And he really loves us all. Just like any father, he helps us up, Dusts us off when we fall. Oh God I love you, pull me through, This long hard road called life. I know that pain will be easier to bear, With you: More peaceful, the strife. It's a long hard path, and when you come to the fork, If you take the right road out.. You'll get to heaven, be at peace forever, It just makes ya wanna shout! Oh Praise, Praise be the King Of Kings, Our Father, the Holy One! Praise, Praise to the Holy Spirit, ONE HUGE CHEER for his Holy Son! He sent His Son to earth, And gave HIM UP, for you! NEVER EVER will you EVER find, A love even NEAR as true! You've been blessed more than you could ever know, Blessed with a little thing called love. It was given with His Son, with the gift of life, With that Holy, peaceful DOVE! Now thank the Lord for all he's given, AND HOLY BE HIS NAME! If you only let the Lord in you, You'll never be the same! At peace, happy, is where you'll be, A wiser one at that. Not worried about those stupid things, Like if your ugly or fat. For in God's eyes we're all gorgeous, No matter what we've done, He loves each one of us, now and 4-ever, He proved that with his Son. So here's three cheers for our awesome God! Give thanks to the Lord above! Let's return as best we can, the gift he's shown, The sweet, soft gift of love.
