Nieman Marcus Cake

Ease of Cooking: Easy
Serving Size: 24
Notes: This is a very tasty cake.

Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix with butter
2 eggs
1 stick butter, softened (margarine will work, but butter is better)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. box powdered sugar

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together butter, eggs, and cake mix.
Press into a greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Mix together cream cheese , and powdered sugar and pour these over the cake mix batter mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.


Nacho Cheese Soup

1 pk (5.25 oz.) Dry au gratin potato mix (like Betty Crocker)
1 can (15.25 oz.) Whole kernel corn--undrained
1 C Picante sauce
2 C Water
2 C Milk
1 1/2 C Grated Cheddar cheese

In a large saucepan combine potatoes, corn, picante sauce and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occcasionally. Add dry cheese sauce mix from au gratin potato package, milk, & cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is heated through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 8 cups.


Microwave Granola Mix

Ingredients:
3 cups uncooked Oatmeal
1 cup flaked Coconut
1 cup chopped Nuts
1/4 cup honey
2 Tab. Brown sugar
1 cup Butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt
2/3 cup raisins

METHOD:
Mix all indredients EXCEPT raisins. Pour into an ungreased 11x8 Baking Dish. Cook in Micro on high for 8 minutes....Stirring every two minutes til light golden brown. Stir in raisins. Cool. Store in covered container.



EASY DUMP SALAD

Ingredients:
1 small container of cottage cheese
1 small box of jello any flavor
1 small container of Cool Whip
1 can of fruit cocktail
½ cup of walnuts
Method:
1. You put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix it up. There you have it!


Butterscotch Cake

1 Box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
3 eggs, beaten
15 oz. can Butterschotch Pudding (I use ThankYou Brand)
12 oz. pkg Butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan....Mix dry cake mix, eggs, and pudding together....sprinkle butterscotch chips on top...Bake about 35 minutes. Serves 12. A Family Hit!




Mexican Deviled Eggs

8 Hard-cooked eggs
1/2 C Shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 C Mayonnaise
1/4 C Salsa
2 tbsp. Sliced green onions
1 tbsp. Sour cream
Salt to taste

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set white aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks with cheese, mayonnaise, salsa, onion, sour cream and salt. Stuff or pipe into egg whites. Refrigerate until serving. Yield: 16 servings.

Cheesy Chili Fries !!

1 pkg. (32 ounces) frozen French Fried potatoes
1 can (15 ounces) chili, heated as directed on label
1 jar (16 ounces) CHEEZ WHIZ

prepare potatoes as directed on package. Arrange them on a large serving platter. Pour hot chili over potatoes. Microwave Cheez Whiz, and pour over chili....Optional: a dollop of sour scream....Makes 6-8 servings...New York Fries will be envious of these!





Time to pull up a chair for a nice steamy bowl of soup, and a piece of momma's chocolate cake!








Upside Down Chocolate Ugly Cake


2 cups mini-marshmallows
1 cup brown sugar
1 chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups hot water

Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare chocolate cake mix according to the box. Mix marshmallows, brown sugar, cocoa, and water in a bowl. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
Spoon cake mix on top of marshmallow mixture, but don't mix them. Bake for 45 minutes. Then, after the cake cools, flip over onto a cookie sheet.
Be careful--the marshmallow mixture might run. No need to frost
