Subject: Organization name?
Message: I'm trying to update the Wikipedia Comparison of vector graphics editors page but don't know who to put as the "Creator" or parent company. I know that Inkscape is a very grassroots-organized project, but do the founders and website owners have a specific name?

Subject: RE: Organization name?
Message: The organization name is the same as the product name, as is the case with most Open Source projects. The product, being GPL'ed, doesn't have "owners" as such. There are, however, a core set of developers, the list of whom you can find on the sourceforge site.
