His name might be really be Against All Odds to better represent his ordeal with this life as his very survival was against all odds. But it's hardly arabic and does not accurately represent the significance of making Michigan History by surviving torsioned uterus surgery. He sports a large star with a slight strip on a nicely dished head. Born dark chestnut but will gray. Tall, straight legged and hearty ~ a Michigan History Maker at Birth, I have great hope for the future of this handsome colt.

Odysseus was sired by Ansata Shah Zahir, an exotic, correct stallion that has not been shown. Ansata Shah Zahir was sired by Ansata Shah Zaman, a multi-champion United States National and Class A stallion as well as sire of several National Champion horses including United States National Futurity Champion Stallion of 1977 and Canadian Reserve National Champion Stallion, Ansata Shah Zam. Ansata Shah Zaman was sired by the legendary *Morafic, a Class A Halter and Park Champion as well as multi-champion producer and founder of one of the most prolific sire lines in the World. He sired the remarkable Amaal, Shaikh Al Badi who went on to sire Alidaar, Ruminaja Ali, Ruminaja Fayez, Ruminaja Majid, Ruminaja Bahajt and countless other champions. Ansata Shah Zahir's dam was Ansata Jamila who was sired by *Ansata Ibn Halima, a three time United States National Top Ten Halter Champion Stallion, Class A Champion at Park and Halter, Most Classic and Legion of Merit Stallion. *Ansata Ibn Halima sired the United States National Champion Mare, Fa Halima, United States National Champion Stallion, Ansata Ibn Sudan, Reserve National Champion Stallion of Europe's Salon Du Cheval, Ansata Abbas Pasha and Reserve National Champion Mare of Europe, Fa Halima. He also has countless champion grandget throughout the World and his blood may be found in most modern day horse pedigrees. Ansata Jamila's dam was *Ansata Bint Sameh one of Ansata's early imports and foundation mares by Sameh, known for producing outstanding broodmares with wonderful bodies.

Odysseus' dam was Aliamah Moniet sired by The Egyptian Prince, a producer of countless United States and Canadian National Top Ten Champions and noted broodmare sire. The Egyptian Prince was also sired by *Morafic. The Egyptian Prince's dam was *Bint Mona, an early import with significant impact on Egyptian horses known for producing extreme heads with large black eyes. Aliamah Moniet's dam was Rodoniet a Pritzlaf bred mare sired by Umi who was sired by the Park horse and producer Shiko Ibn Sheikh and out of the early import *Bint Dahma known for producing exotic faces with wide foreheads. Rodoniet is out of RSI Rara Delsol who was sired by *Rashad Ibn Nazeer, a prolific performance horse and out of *Bint Moniet El Nefous the daughter of the "Queen of the Nile" and most famous broodmare of all times, Moniet El Nefous, known for her exquisite beauty and refinement.

Odysseus is a comprehensive compliment of his most famous ancestors, beauty, performance ability and halter quality.

Allikad is sired by, Nabiel, the U.S. National Champion Futurity Stallion of 1974, National Top Ten Stallion of 1975 and 1976, a Most Classic Arabian and Legion of Honor Winner as well as sire of numerous champions and champion producers. Nabiel won over 30 Class A Show Championships. Nabiel daughters are sought throughout the world for their contribution of classic type, quality and production ability. Nabiel is sired by *Sakr a U.S. National Top Ten Champion Stallion 1972, U.S. National Native Costume Champion 1976, 1977, 1978, Canadian Top Ten Native Costume Champion 1978, Canadian National Park Horse Champion 1978, U.S. Reserve National Park Horse Champion 1973, 1974, U.S. National Top Ten Park Horse Champion 1971, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1982 and Legion of Supreme Merit Winner. Nabiel is out of the incomparable producer and progenitor of champions, *Magidaa by Alaa El Din out of the Anter daughter Maysa. *Magidaa is the dam of U.S. National Futurity Champions, Shafeekah and Nabiel, dam of Sugaa, 1978 Canadian National Top Ten English Pleasure Horse and Driving Horse, many times Class A Halter Champion and Most Classic Arabian. *Magidaa is also the dam of the legendary producer, Bint Magidaa, dam of Ruminaja Ali, Alidaar, Ruminaja Majed, Ruminaja Fayez and Ruminaja Bahajt.

Allikad is out of the EAO import *Dakilla who was sired by Kheiralla a Kayed son out of El Amira, a beautiful full sister to *Talal (Nazeer x Zaafarana). Kayed was the Chief Sire at Al Badeia Stud until his untimely death in 1982 at just 14 years of age. Kayed sired countless champions with beautiful heads no matter what mare he was bred to. *Talal was Herd Sire for Cline’s Arabians for many years and used successfully to produce outstanding broodmares. *Dakilla is out of Bint Alia by Korayem, a Nazeer son out of Helwa the granddam of *Ghazala, and tail female line for Shahloul, Anter, *Bint Serra I, and El Moez (sire of Sameh). Bint Alia is out of Alia who was sired by Amrulla (Sid Abouham x Zaafarana) and out of Maysouna (Kheir x Shams) known for producing large, dark, wide-set eyes with exotic heads and full hips.

Allikad is a culmination of the best components of her pedigree. She exhibits a nicely dished head, with large dark eyes that are prominently well set in her short head. Her skin is thin and her coat fine. Her ears are small, tipped in and forward. She bends nicely at the poll and her slender neck ties in to well laid back shoulders. She has ample hip with excellent legs and feet. Her movement is English style that is light and airy easily lifting off her forehand and driving from her hocks. Her siblings are National Champion English horses and if Allikad were to be shown, even in today’s ring, she would be a top contender.
