Greetings Sister,
If you have happened on this page it is because I sent it to you and you are new to the Roses of Sharon. Yes, I could be like everyone else and send you a nice welcome letter.. or post on the message board (which is where i love to visit) but I decided I would make a page just for you!
 Some of us joined the Roses of Sharon because a friend told us that it is a great group, maybe you saw it on a site of one of its members, some have joined hoping that the ROS the webring would bring traffic to their site, perhaps you were looking for a place you could gather with Christians to discuss matters of spirituality, or just plain ol'e were looking for Christian fellowship. Well, I am happy to say you found what you were looking for. ;-)
The Roses of Sharon is all of that and more. We care about one another. But (and this is so important) you need to jump in and let others know you are here. The message board is the best place to do this. There you will find the heart of this group. You will find a place that you can uplift one who is down, ask for prayer, pray for others, who knows - some days you may even find a pie landing in someone's face. So you see you really need to visit with us there. Please do, I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. There is no question or comment to silly, to serious, just be yourself and relax.
Now, even though you will be able to get all the latest news from our Weekly Rose, sometimes you can find out what is going on at the message board also. (see, I told you it was important ;-). Of course you can find these and all the other helpful pages that will introduce you to all the facets of this wonderful group by going to our Directory Page that PeggyLynn (that's our fearless leader LOL) put together for us.
So now how about me? Just who am I? And why am I a part of ROS? Well it is quite simple.
I am first a Child of the King, wife to my dh Bill and blessed with 9 children to raise for Him. I joined ROS for 2 main reasons, 1. To get involved with a group of likeminded ladies who love the Lord and are seeking to grow ever closer to Him. 2. To be a help and encouragement to those that are seeking the very same thing. The ROS has been just that. Will you pray for those that are leading this group? They have a sincere desire to be a blessing to you, all in the name of Jesus.
