I am a lifelong suffering Leafs fan who still believes in his heart that they will one day win the Stanley Cup. My favorite players include Mats Sundin, Tie Domi, Mathieu Schneider and Felix Potvin. My favorite past players include the great Doug Gilmour, Darryl Sittler, Lanny MacDonald, Mike Palmateer, Frank Mahovlich, Dave Keon and Borje Salming just to name a few. A pretty interesting thing I heard about the Leafs is now that they are affiliated with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, they will have more money to spend on free agents and I believe they should go after Al MacInnis of the St. Louis Blues and Curtis Joseph of the Edmonton Oilers. They could then package Schneider and Potvin to get some more quality players. This is by no means a plan in itself to make the team a contender but it is a start.

I became a Dallas Cowboys fan growing up with "America's Team" (even though I am Canadian). I guess they're not America's team anymore but they're still my favorite team. My favorite players include Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Erik Williams, Larry Allen, Chad Hennings, Deion Sanders, Bill Bates, Dexter Coakley, Daryl Johnston, Leon Lett, Tony Tolbert and Darren Woodson. My favorite past players include Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Ed "too tall" Jones, Randy White, Jay Novacek, Brock Marion (yes, he is a former player, just signed with Miami to be reunited with Jimmy), Tom Landry, Bob Lilly, Don Meredith, and Everson Walls.

I became a true Tiger fan in the "Roar of '84". Those were some magical moments. The future looks pretty bright for the Tigers (if they can get some quality pitching). My favorite current Tigers are Bobby Higginson, Tony Clark, Devi Cruz, Brian Hunter, Todd Jones, Damion Easley, Bip Roberts, Kimera Bartee and Justin Thompson. Past Tiger greats I admired were first and foremost Kirk Gibson, then Lance Parrish, Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Larry Herndon, Chet Lemon, Darryl Evans, Jack Morris, Milt Wilcox and the great Sparky Anderson.

I guess basketball would be my least favorite professional sport. I have to admit that I don't know too much about the current addition of the Philadephia 76ers. I do know they are struggling but there is a quality foundation in place and hopefully with some great drafting, they will gradually move up the standings. My favorite current players include Allen Iverson, Joe Smith, Derrick Coleman, Aaron McKie, Tim Thomas, Scott Williams and Theo Ratliff. Past 76er greats include Dr. J, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, Hersey Hawkins, Bobby Jones and Maurice Cheeks.

The University of Michigan is the school that I wish I had the chance of attending. It is rich in tradition and has some phenomenal sports teams. Who could forget the time Steve Fisher took over the basketball team and went on that magical run in the 1989 NCAA basketball finals! There were a few Rose Bowl victories but the one that stands out is this year's Rose Bowl! I might be a little biased but I believe this team should have been voted the undisputed National Champs. Some of the "student" athletes that I have admired over the years include Glen Rice, Rumeal Robinson, Loy Vaught, Terry Mills, Chris Webber, Juwon Howard, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson, Louis Bullock, Robert Traylor, Maceo Baston,Elvis Grbac, Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, Sam Sword, Brian Griese, Juaquin Feazell, Chris Floyd, Chris Howard, Steve Hutchinson, Dhani Jones, Marcus Ray, Glen Steele, Tai Streets, Jerame Tuman and Jim Harbough. I'm pretty disappointed in this year's basketball team. I thought they would go a lot further in the tournament (I had them going to the Final Four). I'm not too sure about the hiring of Brian Ellerbe as head basketball coach. I was hoping the University would go after a high profile coach like John Thompson of Georgetown. But I guess Ellerbe deserves a chance.
Now on to the subject that I find the most fascinating and interesting. That subject is

I thought this was a pretty cool picture of my favorite wrestlers "The Hart Foundation", I hope they try to reunite in WCW. I think a great new Hart Foundation would include Bret Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, The Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho.
