Why the Change?
If you're a long-standing visitor to this site, you may notice that I have massively over-hauled it about 3 times now. This most recent change is because it'd been about 5 years since I'd actually cared about any of the stuff that was on the old version of the site. I'm more into philosophy and information than entertainment these days (although I've still got some humor here). Looking at my old pages, although I liked them, I found that they just no longer expressed me adequately. So, I've decided to do something new. Yay!
One thing you'll notice is that I'm using frames now. When I first started dabbling in HTML back in 1997, frames were absolutely horrendous. They never worked right and were very difficult to code. I didn't want my website to be broken from the get-go, so I avoid frames like the plague until a few years ago when I started doing some Perl-CGI scripting. At that point, I realized that frames weren't broken anymore, and were actually pretty handy, so I started dabbling with them.
Speaking of Perl-CGI, I'm hoping that Angelfire will start letting me put some scripting up so I can have fun with interaction. Ok, so that you can have fun with interaction. But whatever.
