My Favorite Bands (in order)
Those are my guys!!!
I have had the pleasure of seeing BFF at a club in Grand Rapids called "The Orbit Room," and I saw BNL at "H.O.R.D.E. Festival" on July 19th, 1998. And now i've seen DMB twice, so i can die and know i have had a happy, and have had a fruitful life!
This is my most favoritest "Naked Lady," Jim Creeggan. But if you ask me, he seems to be the most over looked. He needs way more air time, he was shown the least on the big screens at the concerts. But hey, I love you anyways Jim!! I know your talent.
I like a lot more than these of course, like, Tool, Sublime, Save Ferris, Alanis Morrisette, any Disco or 70's stuff, classic rock, like the doors and pink floyd, and I also enjoy listening to soundtracks. Austin Powers, That Thing You Do, Empire Records, and both Romeo and Juliet are good. I also listen to my "School House Rock" box set quite a bit too. What can I say? I grew up on it. Plus I am going to college to become an elementary school teacher, and I believe that using SHR will help a lot of children.
As in TYPES of music, I think I annoy those people that have to have me in their life because I love ALL types of music, except TODAY'S rap and ICP. In my opinion, today's artists are just re-mixing old 70's and 80's songs. Then they just put their talking (barley understandable slang I guess I should say) over it. VERY unoriginal if you ask me. But I do like the older rap, as in S-n-P, Beastie Boys, and Run DMC. And as for ICP, well i think they just SUCK!
I can't help it, I like all kinds of music. I guess it depends on my mood. Classical is fine with me, and even country once in a while.
And speaking of Radio Stations, my favorite stations to listen to here in Muskegon are 101.7 WMRR, 97.9 WGRD, and 94.5 WKLQ. They are both based out of Grand Rapids, which is a 45 minute drive from my house. Howard Stern is on in the morning on KLQ, and the morning show on GRD is Rick and Scott. If you ever take a trip around this part of Michigan, and you like the same types of music as me, then I suggest you check 'em out!
