Grand Valley's PSEUDO

Pseudo. Non Sequitur. After all, we're not really here. Pseudo is Grand Valley's Improv Troupe. We perform at many, many different venues all over campus. Here are a few pictures of us in action.

Here's myself, Michael and Greg performing "If You Know What I Mean." In this game, the point is to try and make every sentence an innuendo for "something else", if you know what I mean. In this skit, Greg and I were cleaning a beer factory and Mike was our supervisor.

This is just a random shot of Greg and Karlin. I don't know why...shits and giggles? I think we were anticipating our next move, which tends to be Greg taking his shirt off.

Ann and Bobbi are our only girls on the Pseudo Squad. Here they are playing "Expert", where one person is a world-known expert on something and the other person is a quirky interviewer for a television show. I believe that the topic here was "The Mating Habits of the Toucan."

Here's a shot of the entire troupe playing "Slide-Show." In this game, one person is leading a lecture on something, and the rest of the troupe must be the slides that she uses in her presentation. The sad thing is the more people we use in the slide the more bruises one gets from flying oneself around from slide to slide.

And here we are, oddly, calm. No one is moving. This is something you don't see very often at Pseudo shows, we're all either ADD or Hyperactive, so it's hard for us to stand still this long, you should be proud of us.

For example, here is the aftermath of the game of "Slide-Show." If I were to show you an overhead shot, then you would see the blood and gurneys that we're wheeled out, I guess they cropped those out of the picture so not to start any scandals at Grand Valley. "!@#$king political muck-raking bastards"

Seth and the girls were sitting in the audience, probably watching one of our illustrious games, hence the explosion of laughter form Seth right there. Geez, we're obnoxious...teehee.

This is Michael and Myself watching more games. You can see, again, how talented we are here, because we are sitting still like good little boys, and not thinking on anything bad like mudpuddles and bottle rockets...silly kids.

And here is a group photo. How cute we all are. We're all dressed in our Sunday Bests (not quite) and we're all number one. Counter-clockwise, from left: Greg, Myself (Joel), Michael, Seth, Karlin, Ann, David and Bobbi. Aren't we cute.
