Welcome to my drama page! I hope you will find this to be a helpful & fun place to visit!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Kim and I've been directing church drama for almost 15 years. I started acting in church productions when I was five years old & never stopped. I studied speech & drama at Tennessee Temple University and Grand Rapids Baptist College (now Cornerstone College). I have done some "secular" acting, but prefer the impact that drama can make on the human heart when used as a ministry. This will be the main focus of this website~drama as a ministry.
My husband, Scott, and I work as a team in ministry. He is a music pastor (currently between churches). Scott directs the music for productions while I direct the drama. When it comes close to "showtime", we put it all together, confident in the fact that each of us have given 100% for the glory of God. We feel that Christians should never accept mediocrity~after all, we represent the King of all kings and our work for Him must be worthy to bear His witness.
This website is intended to be a place for people in the drama ministry to get fresh ideas, find new resources, and network with other drama people. One of the ways we can do this is to link up with each other on the Drama Ministry e-mail discussion list. Just click on the banner below to join.
