This page is dedicated to hound hunting. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Clayton I'm from Holton, IN which is in the southeastern part of the state. I have been hunting with hounds for about 9 years now. I first started hunting rabbits with Beagles. I still hunt rabbits but I also hunt coon. I have only been hunting coon for about 3 years but my dad hunted for about 12 or 13 years in the early seventies to the mid eighties until his old dogs died. I also have some older guys that I hunt with and know so they have helped me out a lot. I had always wanted to hunt coon when I was younger but after my dad's old dogs died he just stopped hunting. His main dogs were a Banjo bred Walker and a Wagner bred B&T. Right now we have three English hounds and a B&T which just had a litter of pups at the end of August. I also have five Beagles two are pups and I have really high hopes for them this season.
