What is due South?

Ray Vecchio, Constable Benton Fraser, and our dear Dief! Well, it's not exactly a comedy...or a drama...but a bit of both. It's a wonderfully quirky show about a by-the-book Mountie, a couple of Chicago cops, a deaf wolf, and so much more!

Constable Benton Fraser of the RCMP first comes to Chicago on the trail of the killers of his father. Along with his wolf, Diefenbaker, and a new found friend, Detective Ray Vecchio, he proceeds to track them down. In the process he manages to ruffle some official feathers, and so remains in Chicago attached as liaison to the Canadian Consulate, waiting for the right time to return.

Along the way we meet an unforgettable cast of characters, including the ghost of Fraser's father, the Duck Boys, Elaine, Inspector Thatcher, and an array of others. During the third season, Detective Vecchio goes undercover and the sexy new guy, Stanley "Ray" Kowalski takes over his identity.

When is it on?

Unfortunately, due South is no longer in production. TNT used to air it six times a week. Sadly, someone must have gone insane because it's no longer on air. So take the time to email or write to TNT and let them know just how silly they were.

At one point in time there was talk of a due South movie, but it never came to fruition. In happier news, much of due South has been released on dvd. Here's hoping season 4 comes out soon!

What else do you have?

Well, in August, 1999 I went to the RCW 139:Ride Forever Convention in Toronto, so I have some pictures that I took there. I also have my journal entries of the weekend. The whole weekend was amazing!
